Ultimate Shooting Competition &
Free Remington Shooting Events
Colville, Washington June 13, 2010
The public is invited to attend the 1st Annual
Colville Ultimate Shooting Competition and Free Remington
Shooting Events on June 13 at Fort Colville Gun Club, 3 miles
east of Colville on Hwy 20.
FREE SHOOTING EVENTS using Remington and Marlin firearms and
ammunition will be available. Prizes for winners will include
Remington Baseball Caps and other Remington promotional
products.
CASH SHOOTING EVENTS will require a $20 Entry Fee. There will be
1 winner in each group of 4 or 5 adult shooters who will receive
a 70% cash payback. You may enter as many cash shooting events
as time allows in Pistol, Rifle, Muzzleloader, Archery, and
Shotgun competition categories.
THE ULTIMATE SHOOTER who wins a cash shooting event in the most
different weapons categories will win a 5% purse from all cash
shooting events of the day.
FREE SUPERVISED SHOOTING CLINICS are also available for shooters
of all ages to shoot Remington and Marlin firearms and
ammunition with no competition involved.
The purpose of this event is to provide fun and exciting events
for all levels and types of shooters. The sponsors and
organizers reserve the right to cancel any event which has less
than the needed number of entries, and the right to add
additional shooting events if timing and participant interest
allow.
Burgers, Drinks, and Snacks will be sold by a local 4-H Shooting
Team that’s raising money to compete at the National 4-H
Shooting Competition in late June, please help support these
young shooters by purchasing a meal and snacks during the event.
Pre-Register by June 7th, it’s free and insures your
entry in the free events and if you participate in at least one
FREE Remington Shooting Event and are present for the drawing at
5:00 PM on June 13, and you will be eligible to win a $100 Early
Bird Prize.
The 1st Annual Colville Ultimate Shooting Competition
and Free Remington Events on June 13 are sponsored by Remington
Arms Company, Marlin Firearms, Washington for Wildlife, Gray
Wolf News, and Colville Chapter of the National Wild Turkey
Federation.
Free Remington / Marlin Shooting Events
8 AM to 5:00 PM – Free Entry in all Remington Sponsored Shooting
Events
Remington and Marlin firearms and ammunition will be used. In
the event of a tie, a shoot-off or coin toss will determine the
winner. In all discrepancies the Range Master’s decision will be
final.
FREE REMINGTON TRAP EVENT
Contestants will shoot 5 shots at 16 yards, any shooter breaking
5 targets will move back 3 yards and shoot another 5 targets,
this is repeated until one shooter scores higher than the other
shooters in the group.
FREE MARLIN RIFLE EVENT
Using a Marlin lever-action .22 Rifle and Remington Cartridges
contestants will shoot for the best scoring 3 shots within 20
seconds.
FREE SHOOTING CLINIC (For Youth & Adults)
This is a free opportunity to shoot Remington or Marlin firearms
and cartridges under the supervision of an experienced shooter.
There is no competition involved; this is just a free chance to
shoot.
Cash Shooting Events $20 per Entry
Bring Your Weapons and Ammo. Entry Fees are required for these
events. There will be 70% Payback to 1 Winner in each 4 or 5
person event and a 5% Payback to the Ultimate Shooter from all
Cash Shooting Events. In the event of a tie, a shoot-off or coin
toss will determine the winner. In all discrepancies the Range
Master’s decision will be final. 25% of the entry fees will used
to pay for range fees, other prizes, miscellaneous expenses, and
to support future hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities.
.22 Pistol Off-Hand Shooting
Shoot the best scoring 3 shots at 50 yards within the allotted
time.
Any Pistol Off-Hand Shooting
Shoot the best scoring 3 shots at 50 yards within the allotted
time.
.22 Rifle Off-Hand Shooting
Shoot the best scoring 3 shots at 100 yards within the allotted
time.
Any Rifle Off-Hand Shooting
Shoot the best scoring 3 shots at 100 yards within the allotted
time.
Muzzleloader Off-Hand Shooting
Shoot the best scoring 3 shots at 100 yards within the allotted
time.
Archery Target Event
Shoot the best scoring 3 arrows at 50 yards within the allotted
time.
16 Yard Trap Event
Shoot the best score at 10 clay targets, 5 standard trap and 5
wobbly.
Handicap Trap Event
Shoot the best score at 10 clay targets, 5 standard trap and 5
wobbly.
Other Shooting Events May Be Offered (Time Permitting)
